Auntie Mimo'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. dry unsweetened cocoa
    2 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. less 1 Tbsp. Crisco or Wesson oil (very important)
    2 unbeaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. cold faucet water
Preparation
    In a large mixer bowl, sift together the dry ingredients. Make a well in center; pour in remaining ingredients.
    Beat on low for 2 minutes, then on medium for 6 to 7 minutes, to be sure oil is well blended.
    You will get a thin batter.
    Pour into ungreased bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch or 10-inch round, 2-inch deep pan, lined with wax paper.
    Grease sides of pan very lightly.
    Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
