Seaside Candy Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
    1/3 c. margarine
    1/3 c. Karo light corn syrup
    1 tsp. maple flavoring
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Mix together margarine, corn syrup, maple flavoring and salt. Add sugar all at once.
    Knead until smooth, adding in 1/2 cup of the nuts.
    Shape into 2 rolls.
    Brush with additional corn syrup and roll in remainder of nuts.
    Wrap and chill.
    Slice into rounds before serving.
