Far East Celery Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced celery
    1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/4 c. diced pimento
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/4 c. slivered almonds
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Slice celery into 1-inch pieces.
    Cook in small amount of boiling, salted water until crisp, about 8 minutes.
    Drain.
    Mix celery, water chestnuts (drained and thinly sliced), pimento and soup in 1-quart casserole.
    Toss bread crumbs, almonds and butter. Sprinkle over celery mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
