Melt-In-Your-Mouth Almond Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. almond extract
    3 eggs
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    8 oz. plain yogurt
    1/2 c. honey
    1/4 c. water
    1/3 c. finely chopped, toasted almonds
Preparation
    Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add almond extract.
    Add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each addition.
    Stir soda into yogurt.
    Add yogurt alternately to butter mixture with flour, mixing well.
    Bake in greased 9 x 9-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
