Artichoke Appetizers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. water
    4 eggs, well beaten
    1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
    2 or 3 drops hot pepper sauce
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 (6 oz.) cans marinated artichoke hearts, drained and finely chopped
Preparation
    Cook onion in water until tender; drain.
    In bowl, combine eggs, crumbs, salt, pepper, oregano and hot pepper sauce.
    Stir in onion, cheese and artichokes.
    Spread in greased 11 x 7-inch baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 to 25 minutes or until set.
    Cut into squares.
    Serve hot, garnished with pimento strips.
