Creamy Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. potatoes (about 6)
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 small onion, finely chopped (1/4 c.)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 2-quart casserole.
    Cut potatoes into slices, about 4 cups.
    Heat 3 tablespoons margarine in a saucepan until melted.
    Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
    Stir until mixture is smooth; add milk and cook until bubbly.
    Arrange potatoes, onions and sauce in layers alternately.
    Cover and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for awhile longer, until potatoes are tender.
