Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter (1/2 margarine and 1/2 butter)
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. self-rising flour
    10 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    nuts to taste
Preparation
    Cream butters and sugar in one bowl.
    Mix rest of ingredients together in another bowl (except vanilla and nuts).
    Slowly add ingredients to butter and sugar.
    Add vanilla when all mixed.
    Add nuts to mix slowly.
    Put in cold oven.
    Cook 1 hour at 325\u00b0 in 2 tube pans.
