Shepherd'S Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
1/4 c. oleo or butter
1 1/2 c. warm water
2 pkg. yeast
7 c. unsifted flour (about)
Preparation

Scald milk and stir in sugar, salt and oleo or butter.
Cool to lukewarm into large warm bowl.
Sprinkle in yeast.
Stir until dissolved. Stir in lukewarm milk mixture and half the flour. Beat until smooth.
Stir in enough additional flour to make a soft dough.
