Cherries In The Snow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 oz. cream cheese
    1 c. milk
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 (12 oz.) tubs Cool Whip
    1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 large angel food cake, cubed
Preparation
    Mix softened cream cheese with milk and sugar. Slowly beat in Cool Whip and vanilla until mixed.
    In a large clear bowl, make 3 layers.
    Layer 1, cream cheese mixture.
    Layer 2, cake.
    Layer 3, cherries (spoon in with juice near edges to see cherries). Continue layers until bowl is full.
    Last layer should be cream cheese mixture. Garnish with some cherries. Refrigerate overnight.
