Sausage And Mushroom Spirals - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground sausage
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2 1/2 oz. jar sliced mushrooms, drained
    2 (8 oz.) cans crescent rolls
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Brown sausage; drain well.
    Stir in onion, parsley, cream cheese and mushrooms.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Separate dough into 8 rectangles.
    Press together perforations. Spread about 1/4 cup meat mixture over each rectangle. Starting at largest end, roll up jelly roll fashion.
    Pinch edges and ends. Cut each roll into 4 pieces.
    Place, cut side down, on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Brush with egg. Bake 16 to 21 minutes until a deep golden brown.
    Serve warm with sauces (Dijon mustard, horseradish sauce, etc.) to dip in.
