Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1 c. raw rhubarb (1-inch pieces)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk or cultured sour cream makes this cake extra delicious
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening; add egg.
    Sift and measure dry ingredients.
    Add alternately with buttermilk or sour cream. Spread some rhubarb in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Add remaining rhubarb to batter and spread over pan.
    Top with 2/3 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon (well mixed).
    Bake 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
