French Cherry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked 9-inch pie shell (I use Pet-Ritz deep dish)
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1/2 pt. heavy whipping cream
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Cream confectioners sugar and cream cheese in bowl until soft. In separate bowl, whip cream with vanilla and confectioners sugar to taste.
    Combine contents of both bowls and pour into cooled pie crust.
    Cover with cherry or your choice pie filling and refrigerate until ready to serve.
