Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 large onion, chopped 1 1/2 c. long grain rice (not Minute)
    1 can beef consomme
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 can water
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced and drained
    1 can mushrooms, drained
Preparation
    Saute onion and rice in margarine until brown.
    Put in 2 1/2-quart casserole dish with other ingredients.
    Combine well. Cover and cook one hour at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
