Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large potatoes
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 cans mushroom soup
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 large pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 stick butter
    salt and pepper
    garlic powder to taste
Preparation
    Place a layer of potatoes in a large, greased casserole.
    Top with a layer of onion slices and shredded cheese; repeat.
    Mix milk and soup in a saucepan; heat well.
    Pour over potatoes, onion and cheese.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
