Old Fashioned Sweet Dough Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    figs or other preserves
Preparation
    Sift together flour, salt and baking powder; set aside.
    Cream sugar, Crisco and eggs together.
    Combine with flour mixture alternately with milk, mixed with vanilla.
    Roll 1/2 to 1-inch thick.
    Spoon figs or other preserves on 1/2 dough.
    Fold over and flute edges.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
