Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. berries or fruit
3 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. boiling water
Preparation

Put berries or fruit in an 8 x 12 x 2-inch baking dish. Sprinkle lemon juice over the fruit.
Cream together the butter, salt and sugar.
Beat at high speed until thoroughly mixed.
Sift together the flour and baking powder and alternate with the milk to
the creamed mixture.
After all flour and milk have been added, beat until firm.
The dough will be thick and fluffy and will require about three minutes at high speed beating with an electric mixer.
