Frogmore Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. Polish sausage, cut into 2-inch pieces
    2 lemons, sliced
    2 large onions, coarsely chopped
    2 Tbsp. crab boil or seafood seasoning mix
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 stick butter
    12 ears corn, shucked
    3 lb. raw shrimp in the shell
Preparation
    Fill large kettle or Dutch oven with 2 gallons water.
    Add sausage, lemons, onion, crab boil, salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil; simmer 45 minutes.
    Add butter.
    When butter has melted, add corn; cook for 5 minutes.
    Add shrimp and cook for about 8 minutes or until shrimp are pink.
    Drain liquid and serve on large platter.
    Let each guest take some sausage and corn, then peel their own shrimp.
    Serves 8 to 10.
    Make once a month.
