Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
16 oz. creamed corn
1/4 c. fresh red peppers
4 oz. green chillies
1/2 c. shredded Jack
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
1 c. yellow corn meal
1/2 c. (5) jalapeno
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs. Beat well.
Blend in corn, peppers, chillies and cheeses.
Sift flour, baking powder, salt and corn meal; blend into mixture. Stir in jalapeno.
Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch or 8 x 10-inch pan.
Lower heat to 300\u00b0.
Bake 1 hour.
