Chicken And Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cut up fryer, salted and peppered
    1/2 stick oleo
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can water
Preparation
    Melt oleo in a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.
    Add onion and uncooked rice.
    Place raw chicken on top of rice.
    Pour soups over chicken.
    Add water.
    Cover with foil.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Uncover the last 15 minutes to brown.
    Serves 6 to 8 people.
