Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
    1 medium onion, peeled, sliced and rings divided
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. milk
    8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook potatoes and onion in slightly salted water until barely done and drain.
    Mix milk with soup.
    Layer potatoes with cheese in a butter greased casserole.
    Pour soup mixture over this and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes.
