Hungarian Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped apples
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg and sugar together. Mix flour, salt, baking powder together. Add to egg mixture with apples, nuts and vanilla. Mix well; bake in buttered pie pan at 375\u00b0F for 35 minutes. I double recipe and bake in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Serve with whipped cream.
