Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    2/3 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar, corn syrup and water and boil until thermometer registers 240\u00b0 or until mixture spins a thread when dropped from a spoon.
    Add salt to egg whites and beat until stiff.
    Slowly pour syrup into beaten egg whites, beating constantly.
    When mixture thickens, add vanilla and nuts.
    Drop from a spoon onto waxed paper.
    Makes 4 dozen.
