Easy Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 6 lb. roast
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (12 oz.) can Coke
    1 pkg. dry beefy onion soup mix
    carrots, sliced
    potatoes, quartered
Preparation
    Cover roast with flour; brown on all sides in a skillet with a little hot cooking oil in it.
    Place roast in crock-pot.
    Pour onion soup mix over it, then the mushroom soup and pour the Coke over entire mixture.
    Cook for several hours on low.
    Add vegetables about 1 hour before roast is done.
    The Coke tenderizes the meat and this makes its own gravy.
    This is excellent to put on before work and let cook all day!
