Banana-Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
3 bananas, mashed
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar in bowl until fluffy.
Add eggs, bananas.
Add flour and baking soda together.
Stir into creamed mixture.
Put in pecans.
Pour into greased coffee cans or loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until done.
May substitute 2 cups chopped walnuts for pecans.
Yields 12 servings.
