Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beef chuck
2 Tbsp. fat
2 c. water
1 c. diced potatoes
3 zucchini squash, quartered
1/2 c. diced carrots
1/2 c. diced turnips
1/2 c. diced onion
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation

Cube and dredge with seasoned flour the beef chuck.
Brown in deep well cooker, using \"high\" speed in the fat.
Add water.
Cover cooker.
When boiling, turn switch to \"low.\"
After 1 1/2 hours, add all other ingredients.
Turn switch to \"high\" until steaming, then speed 6 until vegetables are tender.
Remove vegetables and meat from stock.
Mix 1/4 cup flour with 1/2 cup cold water and thicken stock.
Combine.
Time:
2 hours.
Yield:
6 servings.
