Candied Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
boiled yams, sliced
Preparation

Boil sugar, flour, butter and water for 15 minutes. Add vanilla. Put sliced yams in baking dish. Pour boiled syrup over sliced potatoes. Cover and cook at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Uncover and brown. Serve warm.
