Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. (2 c.) kidney beans
1 pkg. smoked sausage, sliced
1 small onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
-
Soak kidney beans 1 hour.
Cover with water; add onion, salt, pepper, garlic and brown sugar.
Cover and simmer beans 1 hour. Add sausage and simmer 45 minutes longer.
Serve over cooked rice.
