Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 pkg. taco seasoning
    1 head lettuce, chopped
    2 to 3 tomatoes, chopped
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans
    1 pkg. tortilla chips
    1 onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) jar taco sauce
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 (16 oz.) jar low calorie Thousand Island dressing
Preparation
    Brown meat and drain well.
    Stir in taco seasoning and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Mix taco sauce and salad dressing together. Combine meat mixture with remaining ingredients except tortilla chips.
    Right before serving, add sauce mixture and tortilla chips.
    Makes 12 servings.
