Black Bean Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 (16 oz.) bags black beans
1 bunch celery
1 lb. bag carrots
12 cloves garlic
pepper to taste
2 large yellow onions
2 lb. bulk sausage
1 lb. bacon
2 qt. beef stock
1 1/2 c. brown sugar (optional)
Preparation

Soak beans overnight, preferably, covered with water one-inch above bean level.
Brown sausage and cut bacon into 1-inch squares and brown with sausage.
Add celery, carrots and onions, all diced.
Crush or chop garlic and add with pepper to taste and saute with vegetables until tender.
Add beans to pot.
Cook forever, until beans break up into a gooey mess.
Add stock and supplement with water as needed.
