Oven Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 1/2 lb. beef, cut in 1-inch squares
    2 Tbsp. Crisco
    2 cans tomato soup
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    4 medium potatoes, cubed
    4 medium carrots, sliced
Preparation
    Combine
    flour,
    salt and pepper; use to coat meat.
    In Dutch oven,
    brown
    meat\tin
    hot Crisco; add soup, water and onions. Cover
    and\tbake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Add carrots and potatoes; bake
    for
    1
    hour, or until vegetables are tender. Serves 4 to 6.
