Bess Truman'S Ozark Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. chopped, pared apple
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Beat together egg and sugar until thoroughly blended and smooth.
    Blend flour, baking powder and salt.
    Mix into the egg-sugar mixture.
    Stir in chopped nuts, chopped apple and vanilla extract.
    Turn into a greased 8-inch pan.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for about 35 minutes.
    Serve warm or cold with whipped cream or ice cream.
    Makes 6 servings.
