Cucumber Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6-inch) cucumbers
    1 medium onion
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Partly peel the cucumber, leaving a little green peel on here and there for color.
    Slice thin.
    Slice the onion and separate the rings.
    Stir together the vinegar, water, sugar and oregano. Stir together.
    Do a couple of hours before the meal.
    Serve at room temperature and refrigerate after the meal.
