Hamburger Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 1/2 c. potatoes, sliced
1 c. carrots, diced
1 c. canned tomatoes
3 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1/2 c. barley (optional)
Preparation

Brown ground beef and onions lightly.
Add remaining ingredients, cover and cook until vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes.
