Ingredients

1 box Angel Flake coconut
2 eggs, well beaten
dash of salt
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. dates, cut in small pieces
1 Tbsp. butter
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cook coconut, eggs, salt, sugar, dates and butter in skillet, stirring constantly until very thick.
Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies, nuts and vanilla.
Mix thoroughly.
Let cool until you can handle.
Work into balls the size of half dollars.
Roll in flaked coconut.
