Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. milk
dash of nutmeg
single crust pastry
Preparation

Put strips of foil around the edge of pastry.
Bake pastry for 5 minutes at 450\u00b0.
Cool.
Beat eggs; stir in other ingredients. Mix well.
Pour into pastry.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Remove foil and bake 30 minutes longer at 350\u00b0.
Remove from oven and cool 2 hours.
