White Icebox Icing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1/4 c. white syrup
1/2 c. water
4 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. lemon extract
pinch of salt
Preparation

Cook sugar, salt, syrup and water until spins a long thread. Remove from heat; add cream of tartar.
Pour over stiffly beaten egg whites.
Beat well, then add powdered sugar and extract.
