Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 Tbsp. oleo
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
grated rind of 1 lemon
Preparation

Cream oleo, salt and sugar. Add one egg at a time, beating after each addition.
Add lemon rind. Sift flour with baking powder.
Add alternately to creamed mixture with milk.
Then stir in nuts.
Bake in well greased loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes. Place pan on cooling rack and spoon mixture of juice of 1 lemon and 1/2 cup sugar over hot loaf.
Cool in pan.
Remove, wrap in foil and place in refrigerator.
Allow to ripen for 2 to 3 days.
