Bakewell Cream Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    4 tsp. Bakewell cream
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. cold milk
Preparation
    Mix and sift dry ingredients.
    Add shortening and mix with pastry blender or fork.
    Add milk all at once and stir quickly. Some flour may need a bit more milk to make soft dough.
    Turn onto floured board and knead 5 to 6 times.
    Roll to 1/2-inch thickness and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Bake at 475\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
