Molasses Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. molasses
    1/2 c. sour milk
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Sift flour, measure and sift with soda and salt.
    Cream shortening\tand
    spices,
    gradually
    add
    sugar
    and
    continue creaming.
    Add
    egg
    and
    molasses.
    Alternately add the flour mixture with
    the
    sour milk, beginning and ending with flour. Add raisins.
    Drop
    by\tteaspoon on a cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 about 15 minutes.
    Makes 3 or 4 dozen.
