7-Up Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    5 room temperature eggs (one at a time)
    8 oz. Sprite or 7-Up
    1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together in the order listed.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Cool in pan 15 to 20 minutes.
    Remove from pan and let cool thoroughly.
    Can be frozen.
