Stewed Rabbit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 rabbits, dressed
    salt and pepper
    2 onions, chopped
    vegetable oil
    1/4 c. ham, chopped
    1 can mushrooms
    1/2 c. white wine
    2 bay leaves
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Cut up rabbit into serving size pieces.
    Salt and pepper each piece and brown with onion in oil.
    Add ham, some water (about 1 cup), wine, mushrooms, bay leaves and garlic.
    Season again with salt to taste and simmer for about 1 hour or until meat is tender.
