Earthquake Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shredded coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1 box German chocolate or Swiss chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. margarine, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (16 oz.) box confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Spread coconut on bottom of greased 13 x 11-inch pan.
Sprinkle chopped nuts on top of coconut.
Prepare cake mix as directed on box.
Pour over coconut and pecans. Combine margarine, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in a bowl and mix well. Drop this mixture by teaspoonfuls on top of cake batter. Do not stir.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
