Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can fruit cocktail and liquid
    1 beaten egg
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. nuts
    1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Mix beaten egg, sugar, oil, salt, soda and flour in a medium size bowl.
    Pour can of fruit cocktail and juice over mixture. Put in a 9 x 13-inch pan, greased well.
    Cover batter with nuts and brown sugar mixed well.
    Bake 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
