Cauliflower And Carrot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. can mushrooms
    1/2 c. salad oil
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    4 tsp. oregano
    3 c. sliced cauliflower
    1 medium bell pepper
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 c. sliced carrots
    1/2 c. pimento
Preparation
    In large saucepan mix vinegar, oil, water, sugar, oregano, salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil, add cauliflower, bell pepper and carrots.
    Reduce heat and cover.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Add pimentos and mushrooms.
    Return to a boil, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes.
    Makes 12 cups, 7 1/2 calories per cup.
