Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 slices stale bread, crumbled to small pieces
    2 c. scalded milk
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    raisins (if desired)
Preparation
    Mix milk and margarine.
    Beat eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla together.
    Add milk and margarine.
    Add bread cubes.
    Pour into greased casserole.
    Place casserole into pan of water in 325\u00b0 oven. Bake 30 to 40 minutes.
    Raisins may be added when bread cubes are added, if desired.
    Pudding is done when knife inserted in middle can be removed clean.
