Old-Fashioned Skillet Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt butter or margarine in heavy iron skillet in oven while it's being preheated to 350\u00b0.
    Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in mixing bowl.
    In separate bowl, beat eggs.
    Add milk and 2 tablespoons melted margarine from skillet. Quickly stir milk into cornmeal mixture.
    Pour batter into remaining margarine in hot skillet.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Goes great with chili!
    Can also be done in round cake pan.
