Fireside Chocolate - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. milk
    5 (1 oz.) sq. semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
    2 (3-inch) sticks cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    whipped cream (optional)
    ground cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients in a large saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate melts and mixture is hot.
    Remove from heat.
    Remove and discard cinnamon sticks. Beat mixture at high speed with an electric mixer 1 to 2 minutes. Pour into mugs.
    If desired, dollop with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Serve immediately.
    Yield:
    4 1/2 cups.
