Tom Xao Mien(Vietnamese Shrimp And Vermicelli) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. shrimp
    1 pkg. bean thread (vermicelli available at Asian grocery store)
    1 stalk celery
    2 carrots
    1 onion
    spring onion (for decoration)
    sprigs of cilantro (for decoration)
    olive oil
    3 tsp. soy sauce
    1 clove garlic
    salt
    black pepper
Preparation
    Soak bean thread in warm water, about 15 minutes.
    Drain water.
    Cut bean thread to about 6 inches long.
    Clean and devein shrimp.
    Clean and slice celery, carrots and spring onion.
