Hazel'S Dumplins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk or enough to make dough like you want it
1 egg, beaten
1 hen, cooked, seasoned and deboned
Preparation

Cook chicken; remove from broth.
Debone and set aside.
Bring broth to a boil.
Roll dough out and cut in strips.
Drop in broth, then add chicken.
Turn fire down to low; cover and let simmer until done.
Let stand about 15 minutes before serving. Add black pepper to taste.
