Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. All-Bran
    6 sq. crushed Shredded Wheat
    2 c. boiling water
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 qt. buttermilk
    5 c. flour
    5 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix in large bowl Bran Buds and crushed Shredded Wheat. Pour boiling water over
    cereal.
    Let
    cool.
    Cream
    sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs and buttermilk.
    Slowly mix into cereal. Add flour and baking
    soda.
    Mix
    only
    until
    blended.
    Don't overmix.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for
    20
    minutes.
    Batter can be frozen or kept in the refrigerator.
    Do
    not stir batter again.
    Just spoon into muffin papers.
